Youth Summer T-ball (Kindergarten OR 1st Grade) - Summer 2026

T-ball seasons are fast approaching – be sure to get your child registered for our upcoming Summer 2026 season.

Weekday games (based on the day/division you register for) - NO WEEKENDS!

Please register your child based on their Fall 2026 grade.

DUE TO AN IRRIGATION PROJECT AND CONSTRUCTION, WE WILL NOT HAVE ACCESS TO ANY GRASS FIELDS AT WILLOW CREEK PARK THIS SUMMER - ARAPAHO PARK WILL BE USED AS A REPLACEMENT

Frequently Asked Questions

When do the games start?: Games start the week of June 1st.

How long does the season last?: We strive to get every team at least 7 games. If we have 1 weather cancellation, the game will not be made up. If there is more than 1 cancellation, we will do our best to make up a game.

How can I register to coach a team?: That would be great! Please click the 'volunteer' tab and register. I will follow-up once I see you in the system.

When and where are practices?: Practices will be held on either Monday OR Tuesday and can begin the week of May 25 - this will be determined by your volunteer coach.

Can I request a certain coach/teammate?: We do our very best to accommodate your request. In most cases we can make this happen, but it will depend on roster availability.

When will I hear from a coach?: Sometime between May 23 and May 25.

Can participants play up or down a grade: Players can play up a division, but not down.

What day and times are my games?: Games are held the same day & same time every week based the offering. For example, if you register for K T-ball, Wed - 5:30 DEK, then ALL of your games will be played at 5:30 on Wednesdays at DEK

What type of ball will be used?: A soft touch baseball will be used.

What if a division is full?: We will have wait lists set up for each division. If we get enough kids on a wait list to make 2 more teams, and we have the field space, we will do everything we can to make it happen.

What do the abbreviations stand for?: DEK - deKoevend Park, CKP - Cherry Knolls Park, WCP - Willow Creek Park, ARP - Arapaho Park

How is grade level determined?: Please register your child based on the grade they will be entering in Fall of 2026.

Kindergarten T-ball?: Meets 2 times per week - 1 practice and 1 game. Players hit from a Tee and play on grass fields.

Grade 1 modified T-ball?: Meet 2 times per week - 1 practice and 1 game. This level begins the transition of hitting off a tee, to coach pitch. Games played on grass field.

What equipment do I need to supply?: Players are required to bring their own glove, helmet, and cleats/comfortable shoes. South Suburban will supply the rest. (bat, tees, bases, balls...)

Do I need to purchase a jersey?: Jerseys from the 2025 season can be used again. If you do not have a 2025 jersey, you would need to purchase one.

Do I need to purchase a hat?: No - MLB team hats are included with registration cost.
