Youth Spring Lacrosse - Stampede Lacrosse - Spring 2019

Stampede Boy's Lacrosse:

South Suburban Stampede boys teams play in the Arapahoe Youth League (AYL). Divisions created by experience/skill level within the age/grade. Participants of all skill levels will have great opportunity to learn the game of lacrosse in a environment that promotes teamwork, fun, and sportsmanship.

Stampede Girl's Lacrosse:

South Suburban Stampede girl's teams play in the Colorado Girls Lacrosse Association (CGLA). Divisions created by experience/skill level within the age/grade. Participants of all skill levels will have great opportunity to learn the game of lacrosse in a environment that promotes teamwork, fun, and sportsmanship.

Frequently Asked Questions

When do practices start?: Practices MAY start as early as February 25. Your coach will give you specific practice information.

When do gaames start?: Games will begin March 16, 2019 for boys teams and March 23, 2019 for girls teams.

Where are practices held?: A variety of parks across South Suburban. Primarily David A. Lorenz Regional Park, Cornerstone Park, Bowles Grove Park, the Fairways at Lone Tree, and Medema Park.

How are practices determined?: The coach will choose the locations and times of practice. There will be two practices a week after 4pm Monday through Friday.

Coaches Meeting Information:: Coaches Meeting will be on February 13, at 6:30pm at Goodson Recreation Center.

When will the game schedule be posted?: The AYL/CGLA will release the schedule.

Where are games played?: South Suburban Stampede home games will be played at David A Lorenz Regional Park. Away games will be played at opposing AYL/CGLA venues (15 min to an hour commute).

Do I need to purchase a uniform?: If you are a new player to Stampede - YES. If you played with us in spring 2018 - NO. Every 2 years South Suburban redesigns the uniform. Jerseys are $45 and Shorts $30.

Can I use my uniform from last year?: If you have a uniform from Spring 2018 you do NOT need to order a new uniform. If you are a new player you are required to order a uniform.

What is the cost for the season?: Boys Grade K-1: $135 Non District/$105 District, Boys/Girls U8 - U15: $180 Non District/$150 District - *$25 Late Fee for registrations after Jan 15

Are there refunds for the season?: Refunds can only be processed prior to the start of the program. There is a processing charge for program refunds, the uniform orders are nonrefundable after February 1.

Will there be a picture day this season?: Yes. Date TBD
