14-17 Youth Flag Football - Spring 2020

Get out and enjoy our beautiful Colorado weather, playing flag football!

We will be partnering with our friends in Parker to try and kick-start this NEW offering. This will be a non contact league, for boys and girls, ages 14-17.

Games will be held at both David A Lorenz Regional Park as well as Salisbury Equestrian Park.

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I hear from a coach?: Within a week of the coaches meeting. Probably before March 22nd.

Where are practices held?: Practices are determined by the volunteer coach, but most likely will be held at David A Lorenz Regional Park.

When & where is the coaches meeting?: Wednesday March 18th, 7:00pm @ Goodson Rec Center.

When will the game schedule be posted?: Still TBD based on final registration numbers, but most likely on or before March 20th.

When do games start?: Saturday March 28th

Where are games played?: At BOTH David A Lorenz Park in Highlands Ranch, as well as, Salisbury Equestrian Park in Parker.

Do I need to purchase a jersey?: ALL players MUST wear a South Suburban issued jersey in order to play! If you have a jersey from previous years, you can absolutely use those again. New jerseys are available for $12.

How do I request a certain coach?: There is a place on the registration form to type in your coach request; In most cases we can assign your child to that team if that coach is returning & if he/she does not already have a full roster.

When will jerseys and flags be issued?: Coaches will receive their entire rosters jerseys and flags, and will pass out to players at the first practice or game.

Can a player play up or down a level?: Players can play up a level, but not down.

How long are the games?: Games are 2 twenty-five minute halves with a 3 minute halftime.

Are cancelled games rescheduled?: We will make every effort to reschedule games cancelled due to weather. Please allow 4 days for the schedules to be re-done and updated online.

Are mouth guards required?: Yes - mouth guards are not supplied or included, but are absolutely required!
