Youth Spring Lacrosse - Stampede Lacrosse 2022 - Spring 2022

South Suburban Stampede Lacrosse teams play in the Arapahoe Youth League (AYL). Divisions are created by experience/skill level within the grade. Participants of all skill levels will have great opportunity to learn the game of lacrosse in a environment that promotes teamwork, fun, and sportsmanship.

Frequently Asked Questions
  • When can I expect to hear from my coach?: As soon as we can officially form teams. The latest you should expect to hear should be between Feb 15 - Feb 28
  • When do practices start?: Practices MAY (not guaranteed) start as early as Feb 28. Your coach will give you specific practice information.
  • When do games start?: Games will begin March 12, 2022.
  • SPRING BREAK GAMES?: SSPRD serves Cherry Creek, Douglas County, and Littleton Schools. Expect to play games on March 12 and 26. If we need to request no games one Saturday it will be on March 19 ONLY.
  • Where are practices held?: A variety of parks across South Suburban. Primarily David A. Lorenz Regional Park, Sandburg Elementary School, and Medema Park. *Subject to change.*
  • How are practices determined?: The coach will choose the locations and times of practice. There will be at least two practices a week after 4pm Monday through Friday.
  • When will the game schedule be posted?: The AYL will release the schedule at a time TBA.
  • Where are games played?: South Suburban Stampede home games will be played at David A Lorenz Regional Park. Away games will be played at AYL venues. AYL does their best to make the most of your time when considering locations
  • Do I need to purchase a uniform?: Only if you did not play in the 2020 or 2021 season or need a new size.
  • Can I use my uniform from 2021?: If you own a Black and Orange Stampede Uniform from 2020 or 2021 season, you may use it.
  • Are there refunds for the season?: There is a 3% processing charge for program refunds. Uniform orders are nonrefundable after January 31, 2022. Registrations are nonrefundable after February 21, 2022.
  • Will there be a picture day this season?: Yes, Date TBD
