Frequently Asked Questions
  • When does registration close?: Tuesday night at midnight - August 30th.
  • When & where are practices?: Practices will be held once per week - **location, day, and time to be determined by coach**.
  • When do practices begin?: First practices can begin the week of Sept 5th.
  • When & where are games?: 7 consecutive Saturdays starting Sept 10 and running through Oct 22 - held at David A Lorenz and/or Altair Park
  • How many games does each team play?: We do our very best to get each team a minimum of 7 games.
  • When & where is the coaches meeting?: Thursday September 1st, 6:00pm at the South Suburban Sports Complex. 4810 E County Line Rd, 80126.
  • How do I request a certain coach?: There is a spot on the registration form to type in your coach request; In most cases we can assign your child to that team if that coach is returning and if he/she does not already have a full roster
  • How can I access game schedules & when?: Schedules will be available online at www.southsuburbansports.com - date is TBD
  • When will I hear from a coach?: No later than Sunday Sept 4th.
  • When are uniforms passed out?: Either the coaches will receive their entire rosters uniforms and will pass out to players at the first practice or game, or I will have them for you at the first game.
  • Can participant play up or down a grade?: Players can play up a grade division but not down.
  • How long are the games?: Games are two twenty-five minute halves with a 3 minute halftime.
  • Are cancelled games rescheduled?: We will make every effort to reschedule games canceled due to weather. Please allow 4 days for the schedules to be re-done and they will be updated on the website

  • Are mouth guards required?: Yes - mouth guards are not supplied or included, but they are absolutely required!
