Youth Summer Little Sluggers - July - Summer 2024

Don't miss out on this opportunity to introduce your little one to T-ball. Little Sluggers is designed for kids ages 3 & 4. Sessions will be 50 minutes long - the first 25 minutes will be practice, followed by a 25 minute scrimmage game. Players will need to bring a glove, batting helmet, and athletic shoes. Each participant will receive a MLB hat!

Please register your child based on their Fall 2024 grade.

**New jerseys will be used starting Summer 2024 - every player MUST have a south suburban jersey. They can be purchased with your registration for $15**

Pre-K?: Yes, this is a Pre-K program!

When do practices start?: There are no practices for the Little Sluggers program. This program meets 1 time per week, on either Mondays or Tuesdays - depending on what night you registered for.

When will the game schedule be posted?: On or before July 2.

When do games start?: The week of July 8th. July session will run through July 30.

Where are games played at?: DeKoevend Park (DEK) and Willow Creek Park (WCP).

How can I register to coach a team?: That would be great! Please click the 'volunteer' tab and register. I will follow-up once I see you in the system.

What equipment do I need to supply?: Players are required to bring their own glove, helmet, and cleats/comfortable shoes. South Suburban will supply the rest. (bat, tees, bases, balls...)

Do I need to purchase a jersey?: We will be using NEW jerseys starting Summer 2024 - each player MUST have a new South Suburban issued jersey. They can be purchased with your registration for $15.

Do I need to purchase a hat?: No - MLB team hats are included with registration cost.
