Youth Fall Volleyball - Fall 2024

A program supported by the Colorado Association of Recreational Athletics (CARA). For beginner and intermediate levels, boys and girls, learn volleyball basics and practice fundamentals through this team-oriented league where equal play is emphasized.

Our 2nd-4th grade, 5th/6th grade, and 7th/8th grade leagues will be playing games at South Suburban against other South Suburban teams. Our High School league will be partnering with the Colorado Association of Recreational Athletics (CARA) to play games against other teams from the Denver Metro Area.

  • Coaching?: We rely heavily on our parents to coach the teams. If you are interested in coaching for the season, there is a section on the registration form where you can indicate if you're available.
  • When will I hear from a coach?: Within a week of the coaches meeting.
  • When & where is the coaches meeting?: When: Wednesday, August 14th, 5:30PM Where: Sports Complex, 4810 East County Line Road
  • When do practices begin?: First practices will begin the week of August 26th and will run for 8 weeks.
  • When & where are practices?: Practices will be held once per week for 2nd-4th, 5th/6th, and 7th/8th, and twice per week for our High School teams - **location, day, & time to be determined by the coach**
  • When are games?: Games will be on Saturdays starting September 14th and will run until October 19th. The High School league with CARA is TBD.
  • When will the game schedule be posted?: The game schedule will be posted September 4th.
  • Where are the games played?: Games will be played at the South Suburban Sports Complex, 4810 E County Line Road. For our High School league, games will be played at various recreation centers in the Denver Metro Area.
  • Do I need to purchase a team shirt?: You do not need to purchase a team shirt. Your registration fee covers the cost of one shirt for your child.
  • How do I request a certain coach?: There is a spot on the registration form to type in the coach request. In most cases, we can assign your child to that team if that coach is returning & if the do not already have a full roster.
  • How do I request a specific friend?: There is a spot on the registration form to type in your child's friend request. We do our best to accommodate all friend requests based on roster availability.
  • When are team shirts passed out?: Coaches will receive their entire roster & their team shirts and will pass them out to players at the first practice or game.
  • Can a participant play up or down?: Players are allowed to play up a grade division but not down.
  • Waitlist Additions?: If we get 10 kids on the waitlist, we will add a team. Less than 10 kids, we will wait until after the first week to see if anyone drops out.
